Online banking fraud is on the rise; 10 things smartphone users should pay attention

 With the advent of smartphones, mobile banking has become much easier. With this, the practice of going to the banks for cash transactions has started to change. No need to visit the bank to know the account details or transfer money. But while mobile banking has made things easier, it also raises some issues. These are issues related to account security.

This is a time when fraud related to banking applications is on the rise. Therefore, mobile banking needs to be handled very carefully. Here are some things to do for security on smartphones used for mobile banking.

Back up and save the data

Back up and store your banking information. This will help in retrieving information even if the mobile phone is lost.

Keep the IMEI number

Always keep your smartphone's 15-digit IMEI number (International Mobile Equipment Identity) on hand. This number will help you find your lost mobile phone.

Always keep your phone locked

Always keep smartphones locked. Use screen lock, PIN number or fingerprint lock. This will help prevent others from using your phone unnecessarily.

Be careful when transferring data

Be careful when transferring data from computer to mobile. Do not forget to scan with antivirus. This will help prevent malware files from reaching the phone.

Keep the operating system updated

Always keep your phone's operating system up to date. This will add new security features. This will protect the phone from virus attacks.

Make sure you never forget the phone.

Do not open applications when not in use. Uninstall unwanted applications.

Do not share the network with strangers or use WiFi.

Never keep the username and password of the bank account on the phone.

Never transfer data from a hacked smartphone to other phones.

ആ ചിറകുകൾ 

                ഞാൻ  എന്തിനു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഓട്ടത്തിലായിരുനെന്ന് എനിക്കിപ്പോഴും അറിയില്ല.  ജീവിതം തേടിയുള്ള യാത്രയിൽ ഞാനിന്നേവരെ അത് കണ്ടിട്ടുമില്ല. തള്ളക്കോഴിയുടെ ചിറകിനിടയിൽ നിന്നും ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടുപോയ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞിക്കോഴി മാത്രമാണു ഞാനിപ്പോൾ. കൊടും തണുപ്പും, ഘോരമഴയും, കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും, പൊരിയുന്ന വെയിലും എന്നെ ഒരു കാര്യം മാത്രം ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തി  കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

" ആ ചിറകുകൾക്ക് നൽകാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ കരുതലും സ്നേഹവും സുരക്ഷിതത്വവും ലോകത്തിലെ ഒന്നിനും നൽകാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്ന് "

               കാലം എന്ന തേരാളി എന്നെ ആ ചിറകിനിടയിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്താക്കി മറ്റൊരു ചിറകിനടിയിലേക്കാക്കി, അവിടെ നിറഞ്ഞ അമ്പരപ്പും, അങ്കലാപ്പും ഞാനിപ്പോഴും പേറുന്നു. ഒഴുക്കിന്റെ ദിശയിൽ ഒഴുകുന്ന ഓളങ്ങളെ പോലെ ഞാനും ചാഞ്ചാടി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഓരോ വേളയിലും ആ സത്യത്തിനു കാഠിന്യമേറി വന്നു. 

ഈ ഭൂമിയിലെ ഒന്നിനും... ഒന്നിനും..... മറ്റൊന്നിനും ഒരിക്കലും നമ്മളെ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. ഏതു വീഴ്ചയിലും, ആപത്തിലും നമ്മുടെ കൂടെ നിൽക്കാനും ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കാനും പെറ്റ വയറിനും ജന്മം തന്ന അച്ഛനും മാത്രമേ കഴിയൂ. ആ കരങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും എന്ന് നീ അകത്തപ്പെട്ടുവോ അന്നുമുതൽ നീ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കാണ് 

ഹേ ! കാലമേ !!!!  എന്തിനു നീ എന്നോടി ക്രൂരത ചെയ്തു, കേവലം ഒരു പെണ്ണായത്  കൊണ്ടോ ?

 അനുഭങ്ങളുടെ തീച്ചൂളകൾ എന്നെ പൊള്ളിച്ചടർത്തുമ്പോഴും അവരുടെ ഒരു ആശ്വാസവാക്കു മതി, എന്നെ സാന്ദ്വനത്തിന്റെ കൊടുമുടിയിലെത്തിക്കാൻ.

ജീവിതത്തിനുമുന്നിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ പകച്ചു നില്കുന്നതിലും ഭേദം, എല്ലാ ബന്ധങ്ങളും പൊട്ടിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞു വീണ്ടും ആ ചിറകുകൾക്കടിയിലേക് പോകുന്നതല്ലേ  എന്ന് പലതവണ ആലോചിച്ചു. കാലവും പല പല മനുഷ്യക്കോലങ്ങളും അതിനൊക്കെ തടയണ കെട്ടി. കെട്ടി  വച്ച വികാരങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞു കവിയാതിരിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു. ഞാൻ പോലുമറിയാതെ ആ അണകെട്ട് തകർക്കാനുള്ള ശേഷി ഞാൻ സ്വരൂപിച്ചു വരുന്നു.
