Online banking fraud is on the rise; 10 things smartphone users should pay attention

 With the advent of smartphones, mobile banking has become much easier. With this, the practice of going to the banks for cash transactions has started to change. No need to visit the bank to know the account details or transfer money. But while mobile banking has made things easier, it also raises some issues. These are issues related to account security.

This is a time when fraud related to banking applications is on the rise. Therefore, mobile banking needs to be handled very carefully. Here are some things to do for security on smartphones used for mobile banking.

Back up and save the data

Back up and store your banking information. This will help in retrieving information even if the mobile phone is lost.

Make sure you never forget the phone.

Do not open applications when not in use. Uninstall unwanted applications.

Do not share the network with strangers or use WiFi.

Never keep the username and password of the bank account on the phone.

Never transfer data from a hacked smartphone to other phones.

ആ ചിറകുകൾ 

                ഞാൻ  എന്തിനു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഓട്ടത്തിലായിരുനെന്ന് എനിക്കിപ്പോഴും അറിയില്ല.  ജീവിതം തേടിയുള്ള യാത്രയിൽ ഞാനിന്നേവരെ അത് കണ്ടിട്ടുമില്ല. തള്ളക്കോഴിയുടെ ചിറകിനിടയിൽ നിന്നും ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടുപോയ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞിക്കോഴി മാത്രമാണു ഞാനിപ്പോൾ. കൊടും തണുപ്പും, ഘോരമഴയും, കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും, പൊരിയുന്ന വെയിലും എന്നെ ഒരു കാര്യം മാത്രം ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തി  കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

" ആ ചിറകുകൾക്ക് നൽകാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ കരുതലും സ്നേഹവും സുരക്ഷിതത്വവും ലോകത്തിലെ ഒന്നിനും നൽകാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്ന് "

               കാലം എന്ന തേരാളി എന്നെ ആ ചിറകിനിടയിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്താക്കി മറ്റൊരു ചിറകിനടിയിലേക്കാക്കി, അവിടെ നിറഞ്ഞ അമ്പരപ്പും, അങ്കലാപ്പും ഞാനിപ്പോഴും പേറുന്നു. ഒഴുക്കിന്റെ ദിശയിൽ ഒഴുകുന്ന ഓളങ്ങളെ പോലെ ഞാനും ചാഞ്ചാടി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഓരോ വേളയിലും ആ സത്യത്തിനു കാഠിന്യമേറി വന്നു. 

ഈ ഭൂമിയിലെ ഒന്നിനും... ഒന്നിനും..... മറ്റൊന്നിനും ഒരിക്കലും നമ്മളെ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. ഏതു വീഴ്ചയിലും, ആപത്തിലും നമ്മുടെ കൂടെ നിൽക്കാനും ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കാനും പെറ്റ വയറിനും ജന്മം തന്ന അച്ഛനും മാത്രമേ കഴിയൂ. ആ കരങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും എന്ന് നീ അകത്തപ്പെട്ടുവോ അന്നുമുതൽ നീ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കാണ് 

ഹേ ! കാലമേ !!!!  എന്തിനു നീ എന്നോടി ക്രൂരത ചെയ്തു, കേവലം ഒരു പെണ്ണായത്  കൊണ്ടോ ?

 അനുഭങ്ങളുടെ തീച്ചൂളകൾ എന്നെ പൊള്ളിച്ചടർത്തുമ്പോഴും അവരുടെ ഒരു ആശ്വാസവാക്കു മതി, എന്നെ സാന്ദ്വനത്തിന്റെ കൊടുമുടിയിലെത്തിക്കാൻ.

ജീവിതത്തിനുമുന്നിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ പകച്ചു നില്കുന്നതിലും ഭേദം, എല്ലാ ബന്ധങ്ങളും പൊട്ടിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞു വീണ്ടും ആ ചിറകുകൾക്കടിയിലേക് പോകുന്നതല്ലേ  എന്ന് പലതവണ ആലോചിച്ചു. കാലവും പല പല മനുഷ്യക്കോലങ്ങളും അതിനൊക്കെ തടയണ കെട്ടി. കെട്ടി  വച്ച വികാരങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞു കവിയാതിരിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു. ഞാൻ പോലുമറിയാതെ ആ അണകെട്ട് തകർക്കാനുള്ള ശേഷി ഞാൻ സ്വരൂപിച്ചു വരുന്നു.

DHCP Configuration on CISCO router

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is the protocol used by network devices (such as PCs, network printers, etc) to automatically obtain correct network parameters so they can access network and Internet resources such as IP Address, Default Gateway, Domain Name, DNS Servers and more.

A DHCP Server is considered necessary in today's networks. Devices usally found providing this service are Windows servers, routers and layer 3 switches.

In this Senario Router will act as DHCP server.

Terminal / Access Server Configuration

A terminal server provides out-of-band access for several devices. Out-of-band access is through a router's console or aux port versus in-band access that occurs over the network using telnet. Generally, a terminal server is a router with multiple, asynchronous ports that are connected to other devices, such as the console port of other routers or switches.

CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC Cable

This cable is referred to as a CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC cable or just OCTAL cable.It provides eight RJ-45 rolled cable asynchronous (async) ports on each 68-pin connector. The 68-pin connector is attached to Interface Async 1 of the terminal server. Each RJ-45 rolled cable is connected to the console port of each router in the lab. For configuration purposes, each rolled cable is referred to as an asynchronous line in the configuration. Each line is numbered beginning with 2001 to 2008. So, R1 is attached to async 2001, R2 is connected to 2002, and so on up to 2007, which is connected to the Catalyst 1900 switch, leaving 2008 unused.

         കഴിഞ്ഞയാത്രകിടയില്‍ അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി എന്‍റെ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍ പെട്ട ഒരുകാരിയം നിങ്ങളോടായി പറയണമെന്നു തോന്നി അതാണ് ഈ കുറിപ്പിനാധാരം.

പെട്ടെന്നു തീരുമാനിച്ച തിരുവനന്തപുരം യാത്ര അങ്ങനെ വേണമെങ്കില്‍ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കാം, അതിരാവിലെ തിരുവനന്തപുരതെത്തിയ ഞങ്ങള്‍ റെയില്‍വേ സ്റ്റേഷനു സമീപത്തുള്ള ക്ലോക്ക്രൂമില്‍ ചെന്നു പ്രാഥമികകൃത്യങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. അല്‍പസമയത്തെ വിശ്രമത്തിനു ശേഷം, ഞങ്ങള്‍ പത്മനാഭന്‍റെ സന്നിധിയിലേക്ക് പുറപെട്ടു, ഒന്ന് രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂര്‍ അവിടെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ചെലവഴിച്ചത്തിനുശേഷം പിന്നീടു ചെന്നത്‌ ചരിത്രസ്മരണകള്‍ ഉറങ്ങുന്ന തിരുവനന്തപുരം മ്യൂസിയതിലേക്കാണ്‌, മ്യൂസിയത്തിനകത്തു തന്നെ ഉള്ള മൃഗശാലയിലേക്കാണ്‌ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ആദ്യം പോയത് ഉച്ചവരെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ അതിനകത്തു തന്നെ ചെലവഴിച്ചു.    

മ്യൂസിയത്തിലെ കുടുംബശ്രീ കാന്‍റീനില്‍ നിന്നും ഉച്ചഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ച് ഞങ്ങള്‍ ആര്‍ട്ട്‌ ഗലേരിയുടെ സമീപത്തുകൂടി വരികയായിരുന്നു അപ്പോഴാണ് ‘അവനെ’ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നത്. നടപ്പാതയുടെ സമീപത്തുള്ള മതില്‍കെട്ടില്‍ ഇരുന്നുകൊണ്ട് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ഒന്നിനെകുറിച്ചും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതെ,. ശ്രദ്ധമുഴുവന്‍ തൊട്ടടുത്തുള്ള വൃക്ഷത്ത കേന്ദീകരിച്ച്, അതിലെ ഫലങ്ങളുടെ, ഒരു ഭംഗിയും ചോരാതെ അവന്‍ തന്റെ കൈയ്യിലുള്ള കൊച്ചു പുസ്തകത്തിലേക് പകര്‍ത്തുകയായിരുന്നു, ആ വരകള്‍ക്ക് വല്ലാത്തൊരു ആകര്‍ഷണീയത ഉള്ളതായി എനിക്ക് തോന്നി.

അത്യാവിശ്യം വരകളോട് താത്പര്യമുള്ള വ്യക്തിയാണ് ഞാന്‍ എന്‍റെ കലാലയ കാലഘട്ടത്തില്‍ പെന്‍സില്‍ ഡ്രോയിംഗലെ സ്ഥിരസാനിദ്യമായിരുന്നു, പങ്കെടുത്തു സംതൃപ്തി അടയാലായിരുന്നു എന്‍റെ ഹോബി. ആരു വരക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടാലും, ചിത്രം എവിടെ കണ്ടാലും കുറച്ചുനേരം നോക്കിനില്ക്കല്‍ പതിവായിരുന്നു. വരകളോട് എനിക്ക് ചെറിയൊരു പ്രണയം ഇപ്പോഴും ഉണ്ട്. 

പേനഉപയോഗിചാണ് അവന്‍ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ പകര്‍ത്തുന്നത്. ആരൊക്കെയോ അവന്‍റെ മുന്‍പിലൂടെ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു, അതില്‍ ചിലര്‍ അവന്‍റെ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ നോക്കുകയും അഭിനന്ദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുനുണ്ടായിരുന്നു, പക്ഷേ അതൊന്നും അവന്‍റെ ശ്രദ്ദയെ വ്യതിചലിപ്പികുന്നില്ല. 

കുറച്ചുനേരം ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവനെയും അവന്‍റെ വരകളെയും നോക്കിനിന്നു, എനിക്ക് അവനെ കുറിച് മതിപ്പും ബഹുമാനവും തോന്നി. ഞാനുള്‍പെടുന്ന ഇന്നുള്ള തലമുറ പൊതുവെ Facebook,twitter, മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണ്‍, ഗെയിംസിന്‍റെ ഒക്കെ പിറകെ പോകുംപോഴും അവരില്‍ നിന്നെല്ലാം വ്യതസതനായി വരയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടി സമയം കണ്ടെത്തുന്ന അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഇന്നത്തെ കുട്ടികള്‍ കുറച്ചൊക്കെ മാതൃകയാക്കണം എന്ന് തോന്നി. ഇന്ന് എല്ലാവരും എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ്ന്‍റെയും , മെഡിസിന്‍റെയും പുറകെയാണ് പലരും അവരിലെ കഴിവുകള്‍ തേച്ചുമായ്ച്ചു കളയുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. 

അങ്ങനെ ചിത്രം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകുന്നത് വരെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ അങ്ങനെ നോക്കി നിന്നു.അവനെക്കുറിച്ച് കൂടുതല്‍ അറിയാനി ഞാന്‍ അടുത്തുചെന്നു കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ തിരക്കി. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഫൈന്‍ ആര്‍ട്സ് കോലേജിലെ മൂന്നാം വര്‍ഷ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിയാണ്, മലപ്പുറം ആണ് സ്വദേശം, ചെറുപ്പം മുതലേ ചിത്രകലയോട് ആത്മബന്ദം പുലര്‍ത്തുന്ന കുട്ടിആണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി. കുറച്ചുനേരം ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവനുമായി സംസാരിച്ചു.ഇന്നത്തെ ചിത്രകലയും,ചിത്രകാരന്മാരും, ടെക്നോളജി ചിത്രകലയില്‍ ചെലുത്തുന്ന സ്വാധീനത്തെ കുറിച്ചും സംസാരത്തില്‍ ഇടം കണ്ടെത്തി.ടെക്നോളജിയുടെ അതി പ്രസരമുള്ള ഇക്കാലത്ത് വെറും ഒരു പേന കൊണ്ടുമാത്രം ജീവിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റില്ലാന്ന് എനിക്കു നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയാം. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ പെന്‍ ഡ്രോയിംഗ്, ഡിസൈനിംഗ് സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയറുകളും ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു സംസാരവിഷയങ്ങളായി.

വളരെ സന്തോഷത്തോടുകൂടിയാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവിടെനിന്നും മടങ്ങിയത്.
